Maldives Holiday
In the next couple of years I'm hoping to go on a diving holiday to the Maldives. I've chosen the Maldives because it's reputedly one of the best place in the World for diving. The Maldives is a small Island state in the Indian Ocean and consists of a group of about 1200 small Islands and coral atolls. We've chosen Kuredu - one of the bigger Islands with diving facilities run by 'Prodiver'.
We've picked Hayes & Jarvis as our travel company, and hope to book our holiday for early 2005 once we've sorted time off from work. We're going for 14 nights - and it's an eleven hour flight from Gatwick to Malé, followed by a 45 minute seaplane journey to Kuredu via Maldevian Air Taxi.
A whole Island has been made into a runway at the Maldives Hulule International Airport.
